Q: How long will my listing last?
A: Depending on the type of listing you use, your listing or banner ad can last anywhere from a single month to several years.
Q: Can I list in more than one design category?
A: No. You must pick the one design category that best describes your work.
Q: What is the main benefit of listing in the Asheville Web Collective Directory?
A: Exposure. The more paths leading to your web design site, the better.
Q: Do you list sites under construction?
A: Generally not. It's worrisome when someone is offering to do a web design for someone else but can't seem to complete their own website.
Q: What is a site that is under construction?
A: It is a site that has Coming Soon! messages or a site that has links that lead to nowhere.
Q: How long will it take my listings to appear in AWC pages?
A: You can expect it to be live within 24 to 48 hours of submission. For smooth approval of your listings, please follow our submission guidelines.
Q: Is link exchange required for basic listings?
A: Yes. A link to Asheville Web Collective is required when you purchase a basic listing. See our "Get Listed" page to learn more about listing options.
Q: Can I update my listing?
A: Yes. Use our Contact Form to notify us of any changes you need. Place "Listing Update" in the subject line.
Finding a designer
Q: How do I hire a designer?
A: Simply choose the type of designer you're looking for (e.g. Website Designer, Ecommerce, SEO, etc.), browse our General Listings directory, and contact the designer of your choice.
Q: Can I search for a particular designer company or URL in your site?
A: Yes, you can. Just search with the company or URL (e.g. www.avlwebcollective.com) in our search box and you will get the list of pages where the company or site is listed.
If you are dissatisfied with your listing in the Asheville Web Collective directory, please submit a change request, and Asheville Web Collective will fix it.
